Go Tell It On the Mountain by James Baldwin

One Book One Bronx hosts weekly restorative conversations on a diverse selection of books. The discussions reflect the borough's racial, economic, and gender demographics and aim to build bridges for engagement while reigniting a passion for reading.

Go Tell It On The Mountain by James Baldwin
In an exploration of FAITH in America, we’ve paired Temple Folk with Go Tell It On The Mountain.

First published in 1953, Baldwin chronicles a fourteen-year-old boy's discovery of the terms of his identity as the stepson of the minister of a storefront Pentecostal church in Harlem.
