Schools and Community-based organizations

Start a Book Club

Book clubs offer great ways to connect organizations to reading, community building, and cultures.

Bring a transformative experience to your organization or school with the Literary Freedom Project's weekly on-site book clubs. Tailored for diverse settings—from senior centers and educational institutions—each book is chosen for an enjoyable experience.

Our program embraces the principles of social prescribing, connecting participants with literature as a meaningful tool for well-being. Through bibliotherapy, we use storytelling and reading to promote wellness, fostering client-centered spaces where literacy and personal growth intersect. Each book club runs for five weeks and is led by a trained facilitator, encouraging open, engaging discussions.
